Sporting Clays Classic

Join us at the Sporting Clays Classic! All proceeds benefit local Scouting programs and the Longhouse Council.  Whether you are an expert or casual shooter, this is one event you will not want to miss!

The event includes:  

• A 100 shot sporting clays event at incredible Vernon National Sporting Clays Course.
• Carts provided for all participants.
• Box lunch before the event. 
• Reception following days shooting, including complementary beverages and cigars. 
• Grilled steak dinner and awards ceremony. 
• Gun and Trip Board raffles. 
• For Sponsors: Early access VIP 50/50 Longshot experience with a Barrett Model 99 .50cal Rifle

1:30 pm |  Shotgun Start to Clay Shoot
4:00 pm |  Reception w/ Cigars provided by Rocky's Cigars and beverages from our Beverage Sponsor.
5:00 pm |  Dinner and Award Presentation

Format

• Teams will be assigned to a starting station and progress numerically from one station to the next until they have visited all stations. 
• At each station, each shooter on the team will shoot a total of 6-8 shots at the clay targets. 
• Targets are launched as report pairs (second clay is launched after the report of the gun firing at the first target), with the last pair being a true pair. (both clays launched at once).
• The team with the highest cumulative total wins the event. 
• Additional awards, including individual top shooter and lewis class winners will also be recognized. 

Important Information

• Ammunition is not provided, but can be purchased in advance or on site. 
• Personal firearms are welcome. Firearms are also available to rent from the pro shop.
